Trusted general contractors with 20+ years transforming homes across Nassau County. Licensed, insured, and dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
A lot of homes here in Hewlett have been standing for decades. They have good bones and plenty of character, but let’s be honest: the layouts can feel cramped, the finishes are tired, and the kitchens and bathrooms just don’t work the way families live today. When you finally decide to do something about it, the whole thing can start to feel like more trouble than it’s worth. Who do you call first? How do you keep everything on track?
That’s where we come in. Brizzy Contracting and Cleaning Services has been doing this for over 20 years. We’re licensed, insured, and we manage the entire home remodel in Long Island for you. Whether you’re renovating a bathroom, finishing a basement, or rethinking your entire first floor, we handle all the details so you don’t have to. You get solid work, clear communication, and a crew that shows up when they say they will. And yes—we always clean up after ourselves.
We’ve spent more than two decades working with homeowners across Nassau and Suffolk County. Most of our business comes from word of mouth, which tells you something. People call us back because we do what we say we’re going to do.
No passing you off to a subcontractor you’ve never met. We coordinate everything: the planning, the materials, the schedule, the actual work. If something comes up, you know exactly who to talk to.
Your home is a big investment. We follow the rules, meet the safety standards, and make sure everything is done right. That’s not just good practice; it’s how we protect you and your property with exceptional services.
This is your home, and we treat it that way. We keep the work area as clean as we can, we don’t drag things out, and we stay mindful of your time and your daily routine.
Your kitchen gets more use than just about any other room. If it’s not working for you anymore, we can help figure out why and fix it. Maybe the layout needs to open up. Maybe you need better storage or updated cabinets. Maybe the countertops and backsplash just need a refresh. We walk you through the options, help you make smart choices about materials and finishes, and build something that actually fits how you cook and live.
A good bathroom should be comfortable, functional, and easy to keep clean. We handle the tile work, the fixtures, the plumbing, the ventilation, and anything else that needs attention. If the layout isn’t working, we can change it. Whether it’s a small hall bath or a full primary suite renovation, we focus on the details that make the space more usable and more enjoyable.
If your basement is just collecting storage boxes and laundry, there’s a better way to use that space. We can turn it into a family room, a guest suite, a playroom, or a home office. We take care of the insulation, moisture control, lighting, flooring, and finishes. When we’re done, you’ll have a space that feels warm and welcoming all year long.
Paint changes everything, and it’s one of the fastest ways to make a real difference. Inside, we help you pick colors that brighten up rooms and work with what you already have. Outside, we use quality coatings that hold up to the weather and give your home a cleaner, more polished look. We prep properly, apply carefully, and leave the place clean when we’re finished.
New windows and doors do more than just look good. They make your home more comfortable, more energy efficient, and more secure. We carry different styles to match what you’re looking for, and we handle the measurements, the installation, and the sealing so everything performs the way it should.
Sometimes a single room isn’t enough. If your whole house needs work, we can manage that too. We coordinate the framing, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and all the finish work from start to finish. You’ll have one person to talk to throughout the project, regular updates on where things stand, and a final result that shows real craftsmanship in every room.
